“I earned my CFI and CFII at Leading Edge in 2015–2016. After graduating, I flew agricultural operations down in Texas for a couple of seasons, then spent a few years working as a government contractor flying drones for the U.S. military. I came back to Leading Edge in 2021 to instruct, and that’s when things really started moving. After a year on the flight line, I joined Maverick Helicopters in Las Vegas flying the EC130B4 and T2, and I’m now flying EMS for Med Trans in Lubbock, Texas, in the EC135. The foundation I built at LEFA gave me the versatility to move through very different sectors of the industry, and each step opened the door to the next.”
